I have fixed or had fixed the few mechanical worries I had with the Lincoln. I replaced the water pump, I found a little bit of a leak so I squared that away. Replaced battery, it had been a little hard to start, and did an oil change to full synthetic.

I got the tires balanced and the front end shake is gone. I also got the A/C switched to R134 from the old stuff. The A/C is amazing now, over all the car runs and drives great.

My Mom is driving down tomorrow to visit us for a couple of days. I am meeting her about an hour from our house and I am going to lead here to the house. It’s really not necessary but, it’s an excuse to drive the car a little bit of distance.

Wish me luck!

I am about to go to bed so if anyone replies I won’t be responding until the morning.

Good luck! Not that you need it all that much, these old American land yachts can remain surprisingly dependable well into old age. Provided they’re not an HT4100 or diesel Cadillac, at least.

I am not super worried, but it did go from about 25 years in a barn to 6-7 months on a cat lot. I am just a little concerned that something I didn’t think about or notice is going to break.
